1st June 2023 - The Renewable Construction Academy, RECOA, and LSP Renewables have entered a strategic partnership with the ambition to ensure sustainable growth of the renewable energy industry by educating, upskilling, and recruiting talent into a fast-growing industry that currently faces a significant skills gap and resource challenges. 

 

The Renewable Construction Academy is devoted to training, educating, and upskilling the workforce to promote a universal terminology and standard for roles in the renewable energy industry by offering global, role-based training courses and education programmes. The collaboration with LSP Renewables and other industry partners forms part of the overall strategy to support the buildout of renewable energy worldwide, with the ultimate goal being to nurture a new generation of better-educated renewable professionals.  Other ambitious stakeholders are cordially invited to join this crucial mission, as broader participation will significantly amplify its impact on the industry. 

 

For LSP Renewables, this partnership opens the way to facilitate and make available education to their own team of recruiters, giving them further insight into the industry's complex and highly skilled role requirements, ultimately making better placements and recruitments. The collaboration also aims to develop and support LSP candidates in their careers by giving them the opportunity to be trained, educated and upskilled directly in the roles they wish to pursue in the renewable energy sector and in turn, benefit their clients, who will have a better qualified and broader range of candidates available to them.
