This is the introductory module to the RPM-D programme. You will meet your instructors and get an overview of what you will learn.
This course provides an overview of Procurement Management as a discipline and an understanding of procurement basics.
This course dives into understanding the role and responsibilities of a Renewable Procurement Manager.
This course provides foundational knowledge regarding the first project development phase: Project Analysis.
This course covers industry and supply chain analysis, and project category, procurement, and contracting strategies.
A Renewable Procurement Manager manages all procurement activities at the contract level, from solicitation to final contract. At the project level, the Lead Procurement Manager, has oversight of all the procurement processes that make up a large-scale renewable energy project.
Before even running a tender or procurement process, there is a substantial amount of work analysing and developing the strategy for the project. Thus, this bundle sets the scene for these early project activities, including the roles and responsibilities for the RPM and LRPM, as well as the various tasks and deliverables during the early Project Analysis and Strategy Phases of a project.
This educational bundle is relevant for anyone involved in or affected by the procurement aspect of early project development. This includes individuals in procurement roles as well as those who work closely with procurement-related issues and decisions, such as Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and Technical and Legal Specialists. Additionally, organisational roles like category managers will find this course useful to see how their expertise and insights fit into project work. Although the development processes are taken from the side of the developer, tender managers and sales representatives from supplier organisations may find value in gaining a deeper understanding of the processes and considerations from this perspective.
